Hello! It’s Halloween week. I love Halloween. This week, I tried to do costumes that would kind of work as work clothing. Obviously, this week is a little more flexible than pieces I would usually put together, but that’s the beauty of Halloween! You really can get away with it this week.
Hope you all enjoy. This was a very fun week for me.
Monday
I’m Mary Poppins, y’all!
Top: Boden, Skirt: ModCloth, Blazer: Doc & Amelia, Shoes: Tahari, Belt: Asos, Purse: Vintage, Necklace: Atlanta Farmer’s Market
Tuesday
Rosie the Riveter! Very empowering outfit.
Top: Everlane, Pants: Everlane, Boots: Seychelles
Wednesday
This was a modern take on Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Audrey Hepburn has always been an inspiration to me, so it was so much fun to try and recreate this look, even if I didn’t have the sweet sweet gloves or cigarette holder.
Dress: Black and White Market, Shoes: Report Signature, Necklace: J.Crew, Bracelets: Banana Republic
Thursday
Hell yeah. Today I was Jane Goodall. She was such a role model to me growing up. I even brought my little monkey to recreate this picture
Top: Jack’s Shirt, Pants: Asos, Shoes: Asos
Friday
This was my attempt at Buttercup from the Powerpuff Girls. It’s a little difficult because of her insane little cartoon feet and giant head. But I think I did an okay job for remaining human and not letting it get too ridiculous.
Dress: Y.A.S, Belt: Vetta, Shoes: Report Signature, Tights: No idea, Socks: No idea
