Hello, everyone. The blog is a couple weeks behind my actual life but this post is about a very fun week I did back in early October. This week’s outfits were inspired by some of my favorite movie characters! Not only that, I really love all of these characters for different reasons. Most of them, I deeply relate to in some way. Hope you guys enjoy!
Monday
Monday was Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada. God, I love Meryl Streep. She’s so cool. And this character has some truly amazing outfits in the movie, so I definitely wanted to try and capture her style in this look.
Top: Boden, Pants: Spacegirlz, Blazer: Doc & Amelia, Shoes: Everlane, Belt: Asos, Necklace: J.Crew
Tuesday
Tuesday’s outfit is based on Marisa Tomei’s character in My Cousin Vinny. This is honestly probably one of my favorite movies. I had to consciously make some changes to this outfit to keep it professional, but I still think I managed to capture her essence in my interpretation

Top: J.Crew, Skirt: The Limited, Blazer: Asos, Shoes: Madwell, Tights: Heist
Wednesday
If Mona Lisa Vito speaks to the edgy New Yorker in me , Molly Ringwald’s character in Breakfast Club completes the preppy high school girl side. This was such a fun outfit to put together.
Top: Lulu’s, Skirt: Lulu’s, Shoes: Lucky Brand, Watch: Skagen
Thursday
Edna mode is definitely an idol we should all try and aspire to be more like.
Dress: Asos, Blazer: Asos, Shoes: Report Signature
Friday
Annie Hall. She is the ideal woman according to the neuroticisms of Woody Allen. Regardless of the controversy around that man, I can’t ignore the fact that Annie Hall is an amazing film, and Annie is an amazing character. I definitely wanted to embrace her revolution in menswear-inspired fashions
