This was a fun week. Audrey is obviously a fashion icon and wore things that are still staples today, which made this week pretty easy for me.
I tried to focus on keeping the silhouette of the outfits close to hers. I have a more athletic body-type than hers, but at least have a straight shape so the clothing choices both felt like Audrey and I was physically/mentally comfortable in them.
Researching for this week, I noticed Audrey doesn’t wear a ton of jewelry (apart from the iconic Breakfast at Tiffany look everyone knows), so you’ll notice I’m sparse on accessories.
Another short 4-day week for you.
Monday
The sweater neckline and straight leg pants seem very Audrey to me.
Sweater: Anthropologie, Pants: J.Crew; Shoes: Madewell
Tuesday
A lot of the looks I planned this week have a masculine feel to them. Audrey was a classically beautiful woman, but she tended to wear a lot of pants/flats/simple tops. This was definitely inspired by the softer side of her.
Top: Truly 4 You; Skirt: no idea but purchased at Dillard’s Clearance; Shoes: G.H Bass and Co; Belt: J.Crew
Wednesday
I think probably the most “Audrey” of all days. This is definitely where her and my body type is most noticeably different, but I still think the shape looks good on me.
Top: J.Crew; Pants: Everlane; Shoes: Report Signature
Thursday
This outfit felt very golf-forward. I think it has to be the combination of shoes and pants. I don’t think it was as much Audrey Hepburn as it was Caddyshack. Oh well, can’t win ’em all. Super, insanely comfortable outfit, though.
Cardigan: Banana Republic; Shirt: New Look; Pants: Frank and Oak; Shoes: Com+sens, Belt: no clue
