Happy Sunday, y’all. This week I highlighted sheer pieces. At this point, I’m purposely challenging any clothing “rule” I can find that might exist at a conservative work place. Nothing was too risque, in my opinion. But it’s fun to at least push the envelope.
I think I’ve decided I didn’t like Friday’s outfit. It was too busy (which sometimes can work), but this one was not cohesive. Oh well, they’re not all going to be winners.
Monday
This was a fairly classic look. This is probably the type of outfit I’d wear daily, if I wasn’t doing these ridiculous themes.
Top: Ann Taylor, Blazer: Doc & Amelia, Pants: Gap, Shoes: Kelsi Dagger
Tuesday
I really liked the skin-ton palette of this outfit.

Top: Pins and Needles, Pants: Asos, Shoes: Gianni Bini
Wednesday
It’s a kimono. It’s so very good.
Dress: J.Crew, Kimono: Lipslide, Shoes: Tahari, Bracelet: Lulu’s
Thursday
I think the shoes are probably what make me like this look so much. But yes, I loved this day. Was very me.
Top: Ann Taylor Loft, Pants: Everlane, Shoes: Com + Sens
Friday
So here it is. The outfit isn’t very good. The fit is a little sloppy, and the prints are too similar to pair well together. Both pieces are really fun, beautiful on their own. But as a whole, I won’t choose this outfit again. Perhaps maybe the undershirt should not have stood out as much? Made a white or beige undershirt would have been better with this sheer shirt. Oh well.
