When I’m not embracing my punk/goth aesthetic there’s a shameful part of me interested in 50s housewife fashion.
This week will be dedicated to that part of me.
As you’ve already noticed, I have several fashion icons popular in this era, so it makes sense I have some clothing appropriate to the times. Ideally this week won’t simply be a re-hashing of previous week’s themes.
It was a very short week (3 days!). And I leave for New Zealand tomorrow. I will be gone two weeks, which means I won’t be posting for a while.
I may post some things from those two weeks, but we’ll see.

Tuesday
This felt 50s because of the neckline and shape of the shirt. Also genuinely because it’s a vintage shirt I thirfted. Would have been better had I worn the pair of t-strap heels I planned to wear, but I chose to wear loafers instead, so it kind of took away from the feel of the outfit.

Wednesday
Love the colors here. The length of the skirt felt very housewife, plus the short block heel on the tweed shoes.

Thursday
This one felt a little more ‘bobbysoxer’ than ‘housewife’. Oh well, still felt nice and 50s. Really enjoyed this one!

See you guys in a couple weeks!
